Aman Dalvi, Chair
Aman Dalvi OBE joined the Fairplace Homes Board in September 2018. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Housing (CMCIH) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). Aman also has post graduate qualifications in Public Sector Finance. Aman has worked in Housing for over 30 years. He was Assistant Director of Investment at the Housing Corporation and ran a London Housing Association as it's Chief Executive for 10 years.
Stephen Benson, Non-Executive Director
Stephen joined the Fairplace Homes’ Board in November 2018 and comes with extensive experience in development / housing finance and strategy. His permanent role is as Finance Director at Red Door Ventures (RDV) and prior to joining RDV, he worked for a very reputable housing consultancy where he gained extensive experience in a number of areas such as business planning, financial accounting, restructuring and team reviews, financial governance and development finance.
He has held a number of positions within Finance departments at two large Registered Providers, the most recent being as an Accountant for Housing Services and Service Charges for a London-based organisation, which is part of the g15. He gained broad experience in Value for Money, budgeting, forecasting, service charges, arrears and voids performance, while also managing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Kamran Naseem, Director
Kamran is the founder and Managing Director of Finefair Ltd. He has extensive experience of working in the social housing sector with a breadth of experience across both the public and private sectors. He is a member of the London Landlords Accreditation Scheme (LLAS).
Uzma Naseem, COMPANY SECRETARY
Uzma Naseem was appointed as Company Secretary to the Board in November 2018. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and has worked as a Legal and Compliance Manager at Fairplace Homes Limited since 2018.
Abid Karim, Procurement and Business Development Manager
Abid’s focus is on commercial activity, focussed business development, marketing and the strategic expansion of the contractual division. Abid is an accomplished Senior Housing Executive, bringing nearly 20 years of property, retail, operational and e-commerce expertise to Fairplace. Prior to working at Fairplace, Abid held a position in Clifford Chance specialising in tax advice for corporate clients both in the UK and Overseas.
Uzma Naseem, Compliance Manager
Uzma joined Fairplace Homes last year as a Consultant in Legal and Compliance matters. She is a highly experienced and award-winning lawyer, who has acquired a wealth of legal and management experience, having completed key roles in both the private and not-for-profit sector. Uzma leads on offering compliance related insight into regulatory matters. Uzma previously worked at Clifford Chance LLP and holds a LLB (Hons), LLM from the London School of Economics with Distinction and was admitted as a solicitor at the Law Society of England in 2002.
Virginia Gatehouse, Housing Manager
Virginia has been working for Fairplace Homes since 2015 and is the first point of contact for our tenants and their families. She has wide range of knowledge in the Housing Sector to ensure our tenants have the maximum support possible. She works closely with our care providers to ensure that we meet the needs of each individual tenant living within our portfolio.
